The mission of the Urban League of Westchester County, Inc. is to help African-Americans and others in underserved communities achieve their highest true social parity, economic self- reliance, power, and civil rights. The League promotes economic empowerment through education and job training, workforce development, entrepreneurship, health, and quality of life. Today, the Urban League of Westchester proudly serves 48 Westchester municipalities and communities in Brooklyn, Long Island, and Queens.

CP3 builds partnerships and provides funding, training, and increased public awareness across every level of government, the private sector, and in local communities. We convene Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) providers, curate TVTP research and best practices, and aid states and communities in building TVTP strategies and prevention programs. CP3’s prevention activities seek to improve the conditions in which people grow, live, work, and age that shape health outcomes. This means addressing the social determinants that can decrease the likelihood of individuals engaging in targeted violence and terrorism on four prevention levels, categorized as primordial, primary, secondary, and tertiary.
